Biot
Biot is a town that was dominated by pirates at the end of the 14th century – today it is famous primarily for its artistic ceramic products. The tiny Old Town is full of galleries, restaurants, and shops.
Cagnes-sur-Mer
The inconspicuous coastal town of Cagnes-sur-Mer tempts us with a renovated promenade and long beaches. However, the pearl of the town is in its hinterland – the medieval Haut-de-Cagnes, the Old Town, with Grimaldi Castle towering over the whole area. The famous artist, Auguste Renoir, had his home in the town.
The Greek styled Villa Kerylos
There is a house in a truly Greek style on the French Riviera. This is Villa Kerylos, built on a rock next to the sea in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The building is a faithful copy of a Greek mansion from over 2,000 years ago.
