Destinations
The French Riviera, the Côte d’Azur, stretches along the Mediterranean from Saint-Tropez to Menton at the Italian border. Nice is its biggest city and has the airport; Monaco, Antibes and Cannes are less than an hour away by train, and hilltop villages such as Èze and Saint-Paul de Vence lie just inland. Start with a city guide, then pick the towns and villages around it, or head west to Provence.
