You must visit Cassis when you’re in the area of Marseille. This small port town is beautiful. The most famous attraction in Cassis are the nearby “calanques”, which are known as the French fjords, but the town itself is nevertheless charming.
Fondation Maeght is a private museum of modern and contemporary art located in Saint-Paul de Vence. It’s an interesting place, but rather only for lovers of this type of art.
„Gourdon is the balcony onto the world.” This was my first thought after seeing the town’s amazing view of the vast valley that stretches for many kilometers down to the sea.
Just 50 km from Nice there is a unique place for nature lovers. It’s a reserve for wild animals, including Polish bison from Białowieża forest.
Baux-de-Provence is definitely one of the nicest Provencal towns I have visited. Everything is unique here: the location, the views, and the attractions.
