Antibes is one of the oldest towns on the French Riviera. This small, old town is located right on the sea, with sandy beaches and a huge yacht harbor – including a marina for billionaires’ yachts – close by.
Antibes lies between Nice and Cannes and its position allows you to appreciate both the sea and the snow-capped peaks of the Maritime Alps. For six months after the Second World War, Picasso lived in the town and had his studio in Chateau Grimaldi. Today, it houses the Picasso Museum together with some of the artist’s works.
Antibes is an ideal place for all-day sunbathing, tasting local dishes, and hiking. Beautiful hiking trails can be found on the Cap d’Antibes peninsula, also known as the Billionaire Peninsula.
